I am an experienced arranger, orchestrator and copyist, with my arrangements and orchestrations performed and broadcast all around the world. My work has been performed by The Hallé, the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Britten Sinfonia, Orchestra of the Australian National Academy of Music, Australian Youth Orchestra, Sydney Youth Orchestra, and private clients in Europe, Australia and Asia. I specialise in orchestral and chamber instrumental music but have also worked on large-scale musical theatre and vocal music.
I have worked with composers to support their creativity, interpreting and preparing scores and parts for projects with major ensembles. across Australia and the UK.
As a copyist and engraver I have worked on scores for the National Theatre, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Britten Sinfonia, BBC Radio 3, the Royal Opera House, the Strad Magazine, Partitura Verlag, and publishing and music education clients in the UK and Australia. I have also prepared my own scores and materials for self-publication and which have been performed by groups internationally.
I am a member of the National Executive for the Music Arrangers Guild of Australia – the professional body for Arrangers and Copyists.
Selected Major Projects in the last few years include:
QuizMaestro (2025) – score and full parts for ‘orchestra meets pub quiz’ typesetting excerpt-based questions including Backwards Beethoven, wrong solo, and Artist or AI for ConcertLab and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. This also involved reochestrating excerpts for a smaller orchestra and composing original theme music for each round.
When George Met Arnold (2024) – score and full set of parts of 13 excerpts of works by Arnold Schoenberg and George Gershwin, creating over 1000 pages of music, as well as arranging Embraceable You for Piano and Orchestra and preparing video files for synchronisation
The Witches (2023) and Hex (2022) – two major productions for the National Theatre (UK) for which I created the Piano Vocal score ahead of rehearsals, working with the composer James Fortune (Hex) and for development workshops with Dave Molloy (The Witches)
